Smooth top hand wound 7th string pickup by Kent Amstrong, Hidden tone and volume control. Koa and Ebony bridge. Hand crafted Gilbert tuners. Saconi tail piece attachment. French Polish or Nitro-Cellulose. Red Cedar comes from an 400 years old tree from Stanley Park. Sitka from a 500 + years tree from the Sunshine Coast (from the old Larrivee factory)

Loud red cedar, thin red cedar top (from a dead still standing tree from northen British Columbia). Light X-shape bracing. Highly figured Koa back and sides. Redwood burl inlay around rosette. Spanish cedar neck with carbon fiber rod. Frenh Polished finished.

Mariontes 7 Guitar

7th string classical, redwood sinker wood (salvaged underwater from a lake in Oregon). Quilted bubinga back and sides. narrow spanish cedar neck for playability. Hand made Gilbert Tuners. Smaller rosette hole for deeper projection. Abalone and mother of pearl inlay as well as mother of pearl inlay runnig around the purfling (front and back). Carbon fiber neck rod. Frenh Polished finished.

Violin

The violin shape is based on the Stradivari “Viotti” from 1709, Cremona, Italy

The top is made of 2 piece Engelmann spruce, quarter-sawn, of very light weight. The back is made of old growth European maple, quarter-sawn with nearly horizontal curl. The neck is made of Russian maple. The fingerboard is Gabon ebony. The finish is Oil Varnish on the entire instrument apart from the neck that is French Polish (Shellac). Color is yellow / orange ground with amber.

Viola

The viola shape is based on a Stradivari model, Cremona, Italy.

The top is made of 2 piece Russian spruce, quarter-sawn. The back is made of old growth European maple, quarter-sawn with nearly horizontal curl. The neck is made of Russian maple.
